To do this we usually undertake a physical audit and of your infrastructure and compare our findings against the requisite set of standards for the technology being assessed.

Our services can be customised to your exact requirements however they will always produce a report and recommendations based upon appropriate standards and best practices.

For example, your structured cabling installation would be assessed against:-

• ISO 11801
• TIA/EIA 568B
• Cat 5e or Cat6
• plus the appropriate manufacturer's standards

while your emergency lighting system would be assessed against:-

• BS 5266, Parts 1-7
• BS EN 1838

and your life safety systems would be assessed against:-

• BS 5839-6:2004, Parts 1-9
• BS EN 54, Parts 1-14
• BS EN3 : 1996

Whenever testing is required by any of the above standards then we will always us the correct type of certified/calibrated equipment as specified in the standard.

Test results are always provided and can be delivered to you electronically in
most cases.
