TfL Body Cam Rollout
Capita (IT Services)
Following a successful trial, Brookvex on behalf of Capita commenced phase II and surveyed 306 Transport for London bus and train stations.
From our findings, we quickly determined the easiest means to roll-out the body cam for thousands of Transport for London workers to start using body-worn cameras to help protect from verbal and physical assault.

Connect Framework
Thales
Our telecommunication team is delighted to announce the award of the ‘Connect’ framework with Thales Transport, which provides signalling and communication support across Transport for London.
Over the next 3 years, Brookvex, along with 3 other service partners, will upgrade the railway system’s infrastructure to support capacity improvements recently made by Transport for London.

Illuminate is a progressive new award-winning venue designed to both anticipate and surpass the needs of the ever-evolving events industry.
Brookvex Building Services undertook the full refurbishment of the illuminate event rooms on both the 4th and 5th floor, the lift lobby areas, cloakroom, and the spiral staircase.
Due to the high demands, of the venue, works were completed in 7 days.

Dagenham East Station

We worked collaboratively with London Underground to update the infrastructure and to alleviate all potential disruptions to the station by undertaking a series of linked work packages that enabled London Underground to continually provide excellent infrastructure availability.

Mayfield School

Our project at Mayfield School consists of a two-story school extension with four classrooms and two group rooms per floor plus auxiliary services.
Our scope included a controlled lighting system within the rooms completely fitted out for all power requirements for classroom machinery and desk provisions and all lv/elv requirements.
The external requirements within this project were to supply and install all exterior lighting to the structure of the building
All elements of the electrical & mechanical fit-out were tested and certified.

Statutory Electrical Testing

Brookvex is delivering preventative "Statutory Electrical Testing" maintenance collaboratively with Engie, across 57 TfL stations and 12 lineside buildings.
These critical works keep London Underground stations and associated sub-buildings compliant with BS7671.
All Electrical testing is carried out by a competent person (Level 3 - Isolations) fully versed in the system installed. The incoming supply to distribution switchboards is isolated by locking off LV circuit breakers, fuse switches, and supplies from other distribution switchboards prior to inspection

Uphall School

Brookvex worked in conjunction with the main contractor, to deliver the mechanical & electrical installation on the new Uphall School in Ilford.
The project involved the completely new installation of all 6 classrooms which included all electrical works in the open plan learning areas, assembly hall, gym hall as well as the external lighting and time out areas.
The installation of a new BMS allows the facility to monitor water consumption through smart metering and monitoring.
Brookvex provided a whole new energy-efficient boiler system that will provide full heating functions to the school.
In addition, we provided full domestic water supplies throughout the building as well as an above-ground foul and waste drainage system connecting all sanitary appliances and condensate drains, including all gas services required along with all mechanical ventilation systems within the school such as the extractor fan in the kitchen areas.
